login screen edit mint 10

Post by mst_pcyc »

I just bought a computer with mint 10 installed (zareason brand). For the login screen, I can either have all users displayed, or no users displayed (menu->administration->login screen).

I want all users displayed except one. i can't seem to find out how to adjust the user list on a per user basis.

Any help would be appreciated.

Create the user with the control panel. and login and select names like normal.
Create a user from the command line, while passing the correct group names, and you get a hidden account.

I don't know how.
Ask again, if you like this.
