I'm totally new to Linux and chosed Mint after a few times running the LiveCd.
I've used XP until now, but installed Mint 3.1 today.
The installation went without problems. Then the problem ocured:
I rebooted the computer, took out the LiveCd and the computer stopped, and told me that there was no operation system.
I can "go around" the problem by booting the computer with LiveCd and choose "boot from first drive" in the menu. The newly installed Mint appears and everything is ok..
I find this a very clumsy way to startup my computer and hope someone can give me a hint!
