You can choose to login-window from there, but how do I install it? I know that you can install themes through the control center, but that's only for window borders.

Re: How to change login-window theme
In order to change your login screen in Mint main editions you need to install UbuntuTweak
It's here

First I must say it's an awesome program, I'll definitely use it for more stuff in the future but...oscar799 wrote:In order to change your login screen in Mint main editions you need to install UbuntuTweak

It can only change the background and the "puter icon". You can do that and more with this command:
Code: Select all
sudo cp /usr/share/applications/gnome-appearance-properties.desktop /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow
Check out this site http://art.gnome.org/themes/gdm_greeter
I want to be able to enable to one of those. Or at least be able to do more with the screen.
