Hi
Last year I tried Mint 9 on an old Dell Latitude D600. This was my first foray into the world of Linux and I was impressed.
The wireless nic was automatically detected and I was able to connect to the web through it. Before this I did not realise that this laptop had a wireless nic. Windows didn't detect it !
I decided to try Linux again this year and loaded Mint 10 on the same laptop.
Now I have no wireless connection. and Enable Wireless is greyed out.
Any ideas anyone ?
Many thanks
Paulreg

I had similar problem and realized that

Well it didn't work until you helped me to turn the damn thing on
Re: Mint 10 Enable Wireless Greyed Out
Guys, thanks for the posts but what confuses me is why I need to make all these changes when wifi works fine when I boot from the CD ?
