Wicd and linux mint xfce/gnome

Postby unreal223 on Thu Nov 15, 2007 11:59 pm

I like linux mint xfce edition because it uses wicd for wifi. For whatever reason that is the only way to get my wifi card to work correctly but I tried to install wicd once in ubuntu (7.04) and it didnt work(wifi card). So is there something that you do besides just change the program or is it just a strange problem I have?

I really want to use gnome instead of xfce but I need wifi!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Are you using a restricted driver for wireless?
