Password 4 network on Linux won't work

Post by 2cen »

I have 3 Mint 8s on a M$ network along with 2 xps and a windoz 7. Finally I'm able to see the Mints on the network, but when I put in the passwords, none of them will allow access. I'm not having any problems accessing the windoz machines. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

2cen.

I had a similar problem with my computer. To get around it I had to set my router up with WEP 128 bit encryption using one of the keys that was generated as the password.

Pick one of the Mint machines that is denying access and post the output of the following commands:

Code: Select all

net usershare info --long

Code: Select all

testparm -s
