I have a AOC Led monitor and my monitor suddenly became dim.I had installed a few new softwares like Diakonos which shouldnt do anthing to the monitor settings.
I removed it..Tried the controls on the monitor...but nothing works.
I created a new profile and the monitor is fine there..can someone help me to adjust the monitor brightness ?I m using a PC not a laptop.

Did you try to adjust the display settings on the PC to match the new profile settings that are working? Which Distro are you using?
