Okay so i now got Linux mint 4.0 and am very happy with it. Although i can't run any of my flight simulators because they are for windows i still want to run dos games. Is it possible to run a dos game through Linux or do i have to install some extra software for this to work?
I'm trying to get Star wars: rebel assault working and flight simulator 95 which both run in dos. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance...

I use dos for ham radio programs, From Synaptic get freedos, dosemu or dosbox.
Open terminal type dosemu, you files you need to run should be placed on "drive C" in hidden file .dos
Use usual dos commands to navigate to drive C
Hope it works for games

I use dosbox for some work related dos programmes and it runs them without a hitch!
I think it was intended for games, however i've never tried any games in it.
