Flashdisk not detected

Postby wa2n on Wed Dec 05, 2007 7:22 am

Hi all,
I have a little problem, my Mint (GNOME Cassandra) sometimes just can not detect my flashdisk automatically.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Is there any services on Mint that I need to restart?
Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

A few more facts please
Flashdisk - what exactly is it? Can be a few things.... (or a few things can be called flash disk :))
Connected how? USB?
As you may know errors of the type "sometimes this happens" are hard to diagnose
I can say that support for USB is generally excellent in Mint....
