Strange reboot behaviour[SOLVED]

Post by jmak »

Hello,

I've just installed mint xfce debian verion the first time. It works excellent except when rebooting, it doesn't take me back to the grub page to be able to select other distros, but it reboots as a loop, as if it would be the only distro installed.

In order to change distro, first I have to shut down the machine then restart it to get the list of other distros.

I've never experienced this behavior with any other distro.

Any idea, how to solve this?

Thanks

jmak

If you uninstall kexec from Software Manager or whatever program you like, it reboots normally.
