Hi everyone ...
I am totally new to linux system as a whole ... I installed the Mint 4.0 main edition from its live CD downloaded from its main website ... the installation process went fine ...
The problem is :
NO internet access at all .... Here are the information as configured for winXP :
static IP : 192.168.1.3
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
gateway : 192.168.1.1
I also put my DNS as : 192.168.1.1
so please help me out ...
Another thing : mu PS/2 mouse moves and clicks by its own ( like crazy ) in all linux versions and distros ...
My Hardware :
MB : asus P5B-VM SE
CPU : P4 3.4/2M HT
RAM : 1 G HYNIX 533MHz
ethernet adapter : attansic L1 Gigabit
...........
