Hi... I decided to try Linux... I'm a total noob.. anyway, I have the very common (just google "westinghouse laptop") westinghouse laptop. I tried linux mint and everything seemed to be working great from the cd... wireless internet worked, sound, video.. etc... , then I install it from the cd.. and it ends up at the command prompt when I boot. I googled to figure out how to start gnome... and read "startx" ... so I did that, and the error it is giving me is for my ATI drivers...
it says,
"linux mount failed to load module "fglrx"
"No drivers available"
What's going on? How come it worked fine from the cd but not after installation?

At the command prompt enter:
envy-t and select install drivers for ATI
