Mintupdate won't automatically refresh.

Mintupdate won't automatically refresh.

Why do I have to manually refresh mint update to get the updates? It should do it automatically, shouldn't it?

dpar: You probably already checked it, but what is the refresh set to in preferences? Also I'm sure you know that the update panel nor the package manager can be open.
Perhaps some more data will be needed to understand the problem.

Refresh is set to 5min.
Also nothing is open.
If you open mintupdate, it shows no updates, but if I do a manual refresh, there are lots.
