Hello im a newbie..
I have only a little Linux experience..

I made a wiki how to install and start compiz fusion with live cd.. maybe someone can test it and tell me if it works..
i copied some from this forum and some from another site..

Thats my first day with mint.. its fast i like it its stable..

But i want to customize my desktop.

I want to have 4 virtual desktops.

And i want have a second panel on top. Like sabayon linux.
I want to see on the top which desktop is now active and to click on 1,2,3 or 4 to switch..

Is it possible in gnome to add a second panel ?? like sabayon kde ?
And how can i activate the mini desktops in the panel... and 4 desktops..

Sorry im no native english speaker..

but please answer me in simple english.. and iam a newbie.

I'm away from my Mint computer at the moment, but I believe if you right-click the menu bar and choose to add something to it, one of the options is a desktop switcher. You can then right-click the desktop switcher to choose the number of desktops you would like.

Right click on panel, Add to panel, Desktopswitcher.

Right click on panel, New Panel. You might want to do this first, then add what you want to the top panel
