TV tuner/capture for ATI "All In Wonder"?

Postby mattrixx on Fri Jan 18, 2008 2:49 pm

Anybody know whether MINT has an available TV tuner/capture application,
that will "work" with an ATI AIW X800 XT video card?
If not, what are my alternatives to using any of the tuner/capture capabilities
of my ATI X800 XT "All In Wonder" (AGP) video card in LINUX?

Thanks,

Matt

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I don't believe that Mint, or any other distro as far as I know, support TV tuner/capture on the ATI cards by default. Your best bet is to check the Gatos project. Here's a snippet from the Linux Driver FAQ on the ATI site.
Video capture support for most ALL IN WONDER cards should be available from the GATOS project.
