Welcome to the world of freedom :)
Also, if it fails at first attempt it does not mean that the wireless card is not supported, but it might mean you need to download firmware or proprietary driver, or that basically the driver is not bundled with the distro for whatever reason...

Yeah, I have 3 machines running with Mint, even a 3-4 years old computer, and it runs OK! And for dual boot, I can live without games, I got a PS3 and wine runs fine for me, I got Fable working (or had it working, haven't had the time lately).
But nothing can replace the Mint feeling :)

Welcome indeed. This is a great forum where you can also learn a new vocabulary as in sudo, root and waf.
The latter of course 'wife acceptance factor'. Not necessarily mint related though
Enjoy!

Hi guys.

I'm also a newbie..

LinuxMint is the best distro I ever tried. Like to look, and like the feeling I get. :D

Tried many other distros but , I always return to LinuxMint, or ehhh Windows. :D

Best Regards
