trying out other desktops(solved)

Postby sorrowsbitch on Mon Jan 21, 2008 12:38 am

hi,

is it possible to install kde or xcfe within Daryna to try out other desktops without risking gnome? so, how?

cheers,

EDIT: Answer: Yes it is possible. You can act as if you are using Ubuntu.(see the link in the next post). Using Live CDs is another short-term alternative.

Your subject line said "trying out" so I would suggest downloading and trying each of the live CDs. If you like what you see, move on to installing.

Put solved in the topic title, maybe specify your solution as well...
