FF? with mplayer

FF? with mplayer

Hi still in my first week with Mint and its GREAT, now I want to start to congiure how do I get mplayer to fast forword if I click on the ff arrows it justs stops and I have start again is there a sotution or do I have to live with it as it is

I just checked with a DVD movie
The ff button does not work well it seems. I have to push it repeatedly to move forward, but that's all, else it behaves OK
