Hi there,
First of all, let me congratulate you guys with Mint(mes félicitations en français xD je viens a Paris le lundi xD j' habite en Belgique, mais moi je ne suis pas francophone )
I recently converted from Windows to Linux(first Ubuntu, and now Mint). Almost everything is going well. Except one thing and that is my printer..
I have got Canon PIXMA MP160, on windows everything works well, but on linux..well it 's a big mess, I tried the guide on http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cg ... ixma_MP160, without no succes(So I downloaded the drivers, used alien to convert them do deb, installed them and even after addings it to CUPS, no printing). I 'm able to add the printer to CUPS, but I 'm not able to print anything.. I installed the Turboprint Demo and then it works..that 's annoying..can someone help me please?
And then I had another question, that is about Compiz Fusion. It has that cool thing called the shift switcher, but the problem is, when a program is minimized it won't show up when you use the buttons(SUPER+TAB).
Thank you very much!
EDIT: Never mind the first one xD I searched the ubuntu forums and the showed me that the MP150 make the MP160 work like a charm and they are right!
I 'm switching to linux for ever!(oh, if you can help me with Compiz, please do! xD)
