HPLIP hp printer toolbox is located in /usr/share/hplip/... But I cannot drag and drop a link onto my desktop. It was posted elsewhere that access to the toolbox could be obtained thru the control center, but I have had no success there.
What is the workaround for this?

Well, one solution is to right click the desktop and launch application and enter path (after you finally get path) and then select suitable icon, but that certainly seems like the hard way . . . ?
