Removing windows disc

Postby phm on Fri Feb 08, 2008 4:29 am

Hi, I would like to remove my windows hard disc as I no longer need to duel boot. If I pysically remove the drive I can no longer boot into Mint, I get past grub but Mint hangs during start up. What changes do I have to make to my system in order to remove my windows drive?
Thanks,
PHM.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Hi PHM

Will require more details. But I am assuming that the drive allocations have changed and either grub and/or fstab are having problems.

Hit Alt+F1 when booting. Any messages or what is listed when it hangs? Also an idea of what the hard drive configuration was and now is would be useful (i.e. Windows sda, LinuxMint sdb. Now LinuxMint sda).
Time is what keeps everything from happening all at once.
