Bootup is longer

Postby Gorai on Fri Feb 15, 2008 12:39 pm

When I start up my system and the progress bar shows and then I log in to my account - it takes 3 -4 seconds for the desktop to load. Is this a fault with gnome desktop of with gutsy ? I did not have this in Celena or Ubuntu 7.04. Is there a solution to this?
The specs of my system is 3.2 Ghz CPU, 1 GB Ram, Intel 945 graphics onboard on a GIgabytes GA-945GCMX-S2 mobo.
