i have the kernelin the .bz2 format.
i REALLY need it. Really! It's the only viable way that seems to work with Alsa for my conexant sound card as it supports it natively.
Yes, yes I have followed all the articles and done all 3 alsa downloads and complies...but still to no avail.
Can anyone please tell me how to upgrade to that kernel since it supports the hda-intel natively?
