Hello, I'm a very very new linux user. Then, I installed Linux Mint 12 GNOME (32bit) on my Samsung N210.
Here are my problems:
1. My keyboard shortcuts (such as wireless toggle, cpu mode, etc.) they not work. The brightness shortcut respond (there was a notification that the brightness has been raised/lowered), but the brightness didn't change at all.
2. I can't connect ad-hoc to Windows laptop.
Any ideas?

If by keyboard shortcuts you mean, for example, a button that has a brightness up symbol on it, then I don't think that they will necessarily work. Are you having problems with the brightness? Unfortunately, I don't have experience with ad-hoc so I can't help you with that.

I have mint 12 kde on my asus laptop and an acer netbook and found only some of the keyboard function shortcuts work. You could try 'additional drivers' but for me I just put up with it.
