I was wondering if it might be possible to have mintInstall install on pure Debian? I really like the sheer speed of Debian, but I miss all the nifty little stuff I get with mint... still it might be worthwhile to configure a debian install on some of my really older hardware to get a performance boost. Having the Mint Software Portal available under Debian would seriously help me out with the task
I am sure other people would be interested in such a support too...i.e. I've notived that the CNR is also planning a Debian support...
