I have Ubuntu 9.04 installed on my HD at the moment, i have used Linux Mint before and to be honest it is my distro of choice.
My question is while i have Ubuntu installed can i upgrade from Ubuntu to Linux Mint, what i mean is i don't want to uninstall Ubuntu, i want to upgrade from Ubuntu to Linux Mint 7, is that possible or would i have to fresh install Linux Mint on a formatted partition.

The main problem is that mintified ubuntu is not mint, see viewtopic.php?f=152&t=25138
