No Video on Foxnews.com Web Site

Postby MBowers on Wed Aug 08, 2007 9:36 am

Hi-

I've just recently installed Mint Cassandra, moving over from using Ubuntu Feisty. I also had this problem under Feisty. When I try to view a video segment on the FoxNews web site, the audio is present but I get no video. It shows that Macromedia Flash 9 Player is installed, and I assume this is what the FoxNews site wants to use - but no video.

Any suggestions? Has anyone else run into this problem?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Incidentally, I've been playing with about a dozen different 'distro's' for several years now, but just stumbled across Mint and think I'll go no further. This is a REALLY polished distro!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

This is the wrong area to post this.
This is for request for apps to be added to the Software Portal.
Even though here is your answer.

Thanks for the pointer - I'll try it later. I wasn't sure where to post this - it looked like there were several possibilities.

Thanks again.
