Lately when I launch programs, the border at the very top is missing. There is no way to resize windows. It started off happening intermittently, but now it is happening more frequently.
Any ideas?
Also, how can I make it so my number key pad stays on from boot to boot without having to press the num-lock key every time I boot?

Re: Elyssa - KDE: problem with window frames
This is a problem with some themes and Compiz
Some themes don't even have a title bar....
It was such a long time since I last answered a question about this that I've forgotten the detailed answer
Play with the compiz settings and it may also help to install Emerald the compiz theme manager

Code: Select all
apt-get install emerald

Thanks for the replies. I have emerald installed already. The problem seems to have resolved itself. We'll see.
