just taking a stab. Generally the Thinkpad's seem to work quite well. Re: compiz, etc. my old r51 worked but the new r61i doesn't re: the cube. wifi worked on both and general stuff and buttons worked - with Mint - Ubuntu - had too many issues. I hate it. But Mint worked pretty much out of the box. get and intel wifi card. My graphics card on this one doesn't support the eye candy. Ok - it works.

Only have printer issues. Does not work with my cannon at all.

No - I do not speak Portugese. I just know enough about some languages to pick out some words and possible concepts. Sorry.
