Would it be possible to apt-get dist-upgrade to Bea from Barbara? Can anyone from the dev team give us some clues to that please?

According to Root (Clem) in this thread: http://linuxmint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=176 It doesn't look like that's going to be possible.
Scorp 123, What I would do the next time you do a full install is manually partition your HD. Make / about 6 gig, make SWAP twice as big as you available ram and partition the remander as /home. The reason I say this is, when you come to "upgrade" to the latest version, you will only need to reformat your / partition to perform a full install and leave your /home partition with all your configs and personal files intack. This is how I "upgraded" from Barbara to Bea.

I am a Linux user since 1996. Trust me, I know my way around It's just that I'd have preferred to do a simple dist-upgrade instead of reinstalling everything. So, right now I am going to stick with Barbara. She's nice and cute and does exactly what I tell her to doScorp 123, What I would do the next time you do a full install is manually partition your HD.
Thanks + best regards,
