PDF Printer

Post by NiksaVel »

How about adding a PDF printer for CUPS as a preinstalled device in cassandra... wont take a lot of space and is quite useful.. and I remamber when I was new to linux it used to be quite a problem figuring out how to make pdf documents...

It's easily installable through synaptic and than added through mintConfig, but it might be a bit of a problem for new users....

PDF printer for CUPS
CUPS-PDF provides a PDF Writer backend to CUPS. This can be used as a
virtual printer in a paperless network or to perform testing on CUPS.

Documents are written to a configurable directory (by default to ~/PDF)
or can be further manipulated by a post-processing command.

works like a charm :D
