My compaq Pressario PC has 4 built in card readers ( apart from 4 usb ports). Mint in Comuter recognises the USB ports but not the card readers. possibly the drivers need to be loaded ( I thought this should happen 'out of box').
Pls advise as to how I can have the card readers recognised in Mint.

Open a terminal and enter the following commands :
This should give you the necessary information which then should allow you to search for information on which modules are required.

Tried now. It was recognised as a NO Name folder- SD card with photos
