Post by dbase »

Hi all
When I start an application from the start menu the menu does not minimize. It stays open over the application until i focus on the application

Any ideas?

You don't tell us which version of Mint (please always do) but my guess is main
For some reason I don't understand pin-menu is sometimes mysteriously enabled
Open gconf-editor (as normal user from the terminal)
Find the key
/apps/mintMenu
In the right hand pane there is an option called pin_menu
I guess it's ticked - deselect and you're done
