Toshiba A305 & Vista
A newbie here, but not really to Linux. I have Mepis 7 running on 2 other 'puters, 1 dual boot with Win XP. I have a new Toshiba A305 with Vista & have been told that Linux will not install due to BIOS restrictions. Am I wasting my time trying to accomplish this. I'd like another dual boot machine. Thanks.

Re: Toshiba A305 & Vista
I have so far not heard of any BIOS restricting installation of linux. There is no harm in trying it up. The only thing I can think of is, it may restrict the availability of the virtualisation support provided by the processor.
