I can boot the live CD into mint. Everything works great (using it now).
However, when I double click the 'install' on the desktop I get an error that reads:
failed to execute child process ''ubiquity'' (input/output error)
I'm a very new linux user and haven't a clue what this means. I google searched it and found a few mentions of it on the Ubuntu forms - but havent found anything helpful.
Searching these forums there is no mention of the error (that the search pulls up).
Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?

Re: failed to execute child process ubiquity
After re-booting the computer this error went away, install went fine.
