Thought you had disappeared, then BAM
I like this. Way to think outside the box.
On my 15" laptop if I 'center' the wallpaper, the stripes show up, and the logo, etc. are fairly large, but if I 'zoom' I cannot notice the stripes, and the logo is small, which I actually like.
All in all...fantastic.

The native resolution of the wallpaper (2560x1600) is designed for a 30" widescreen monitor and will definitely look poor when 'centered' on a small/low resolution screen, so you were absolutely right to use the 'zoom' setting; that is how I imagined the wallpaper would be used.

Good idea. *EDIT: done*

Life caught up with me. I found myself extremely busy and with absolutely no spare time for Linux Mint (or any of my other hobbies). However, that's no excuse for not popping in to say "hi" and "keep up the great work guys", so for that I apologize.

Unfortunately, I continue to have a lot less spare time than I use to - so I can't promise to be around as much as I was before. But it's unlikely that you'll ever get rid of me completely! ;)

Woooot, Jernau is back! Yeah!
I like very much the new logo. The official one, however, has an advantage; it includes the L and M of Linux Mint, so it speaks Linux Mint by itself. Your leaf, anyway, is absolutely beautiful!!

Well, depending on how you look at it there IS an "L" and an "M" in Jernau's logo, I will show you on an upcoming wallpaper.

Remember it's not the size of the monitpr, it's...how you...ah hell, I guess I have monitor envy. :(

Thank you very much. :)

The typeface is called DejaVu, and the font is 'DejaVu Sans ExtraLight'. DejaVu is an extended version of the Gnome 'open source' typeface Bitstream Vera.

As an aside, the 'Bitstream Vera Sans Mono' font is widely regarded as the best programming font in existence (at my day job I use the DejaVu version of the same mono-spaced font in my IDE).

@Jernau

Very nice, i like the new Logo, and with that form, it would be to a good Logo to make an Icon.

But all the Wallpapers are for widescreen, can you post them perhaps to in Normal-Screen??

Since the content is centered, there really is no need for it...

I really like the new logo, and since I have been doing most of my stuff in Inkscape lately I made an SVG of the new logo.
Image
Zip file contains SVG & PNG files

The SVG also has a glossy variation I made. The zip also contains a PNG of the variation.

Can we please make Jernau's logo the new official logo? I like the old logo, but this is clean, simple and so very good. :D
