I always thought Automatix got a bad wrap, then again I wouldn't touch this product within Mint.

I've got Ultamatix working on my test PC = no problems at all.
It simply does what the "Theeman" says - simplifies the install of other software.
as LM is ubuntu based, the scripting works A.ok.

I don't know about Ultamatix but Automatix destroyed peoples systems by the dozen
