if you are getting a hard time to make it work just use ndiswrapper and use your windows driver

ok so i tried the fwcutter and the ndiswrapper and still nothing. but when i boot into vista it works fine i think im gonna get a different flavor of linux. thanks for the help i really do appreciate it.

try mandriva 2009 if you want out of the box hardware detection
