Booting felicia

Post by arm1e »

I can boot and run elissia no problem (inc live cd) but felicia will only boot once every 5 or 6 trys and then it only runs properly for 10 seconds before the system freezes for no reason. This has never happened in mint 5. :?

my system:
P4 3ghz
2gig ram
Nvidea 5700LE graphics
Abit IS7 mboard
Logitech mx5500 bluetooth desktop
dlink wireless adapter (pci)

Any ideas folks? :?:

I have seen reports of problems with bluetooth in Intrepid - this could be that your keyboard is not recognized
Try with a conventional wired keyboard and mouse
If that works we know the problem
I would not use bluetooth for keyboard given the problems with "pairing" which will always be there
But I do have a wireless Logitech keyboard :)

I have no bluetooth keyboard or mouse in my dell latitude c 600 laptop and during felicia installation it is probing bluetooth and installation is not going any further. Is there a way to omit this bluetooth probing?

Not at all helpful. Still when I try to start Felicia live cd to install it is trying to switch bluetooth on, which I have not. When I press ctrl+alt+del and it is switching off, rebooting, it cannot because it is trying to switch bluetooth off. What should I do?
