X Server Not Running

Mint 6

After setting:

Code: Select all

chmod +x filename.bin
I enter:

Code: Select all

./filename.bin
and get this error message:

Code: Select all

You don't seem to be running an X server (no DISPLAY set).
What do I do?

I think this depends on what "filename.bin" is and what it is supposed to do...
