Hello,
I have Mint-5-KDE and I installed Kweather. It works fine, but it only reads out the temperature in Celsius. In all the other versions of Kweather that I've used, there has been a menu to select Fahrenheit or Celcius for temp, mph or kph for wind speed, etc.
Is there an extra package to install that includes this menu for American measurements?

Well you have the right kind of measurement now 
I think you change it in kcontrol under regional settings
