webcam+microphone cant use

i use linux mint 6
my webcam is come with toshiba notenook A100
i use skype for connect Voip but when i press call button the system say " problem with audio playback"
if use amsn , while i test cam+mic, the system say cant find your webcam and when i test mic, amsn suddenly hang

but i can use this cam on Ubuntu 8.04, dont huv any problem....

i dont know why i cant use on Mint6

This may be a kernel problem
Run lspci and lsusb and post so we can identify the camera
You find it in either and it is quite possible to google for the bus/pci id and Linux to get an answer
