I found the following on page announcing the release of Mint 6
"An upgrade tool was made available to automate the process of upgrading from Linux Mint 5 to Linux Mint 6."
If I understand this correctly, then Mint has turned into a 'rolling distro' and I don't have to re-install on each new release?
I've looked for references on the Mint site and have not been able to find them. Maybe I'm missing the obvious but ...... how do you do this.
Thanks!

Not a rolling distro, but easier to upgrade

Thanks ..... tried it and it worked well on one machine not too good on another.
I can now appreciate why a fresh install is the preferred option where possible.
