Hi
The last line in your fstab file is the dvd player. Fstab is not your problem. Can you play DVD's in windows?
No dvd in fstab

Sounds like a hardware problem to me if it will not play in either operating system. As you recently replaced your HDD have you checked that all your cables are plugged in and properly seated, otherwise you may need a new DVD.

What format is the dvd in that will not play? Does it play in Windows? Not all DVD players will play all formats of DVD. Once again it sounds as though it is more of a hardware problem than software.
