How do I install 3rd party fonts in LinuxMint 6? I don't see anything for Font Install in Gnome like I used to.

I created a folder in my home called ".fonts" to keep all extra fonts. Just download and extract to there. I also use gnome-specimen font viewer, its a cool little program.
