Logitech LX700 & Creative Speakers I-Trigue 3200

Post by cyberglyph »

Ok here is the problem. Mint sees my keyboard just fine. Here is a link to my keyboard type:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/433/3 ... 7&cl=us,en
here is the link for my speakers:
http://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArti ... ?sid=54691

The problem is that I use the volume control on the keyboard and it works fine gives me the volume control icon but it doesn't control the volume at all. I have to use the volume control adapter instead of the keyboard volume control. Seems complicated I'm not sure if the keyboard driver is in error or the speakers. I am kinda stuck any ideas?

Thanks.

BTW, have you tried programming the keys yourself by going into:

System --> Preferences --> Keyboard Shortcuts?

Do you have more than one sound processing units on your computer? An on-board and an add-on one, perhaps.
Try to specify the right SPU to control from Control Center > Sound. Or disable your on-board sound from the BIOS.
