How do I add an application to the desktop drop down menu?
What I would like to do is amend the 'Delete" choice on the drop down menu, to 'Secure-Delete". Anyone know how to do that?

Which menu? The right click one? And secure delete - how?

You can add Shred as a nautilus action so it appears in the the right-click menu if thats what you want.

That's it! I downloaded 'Secure-Delete' and used the example that you gave me and voila! Secure-Delete is on my right click menu now...Thank you
