So originally, I was thinking I would use GNOME with the Openbox window manager.
But recently I stumbled across LXDE. Read about it here http://lxde.sourceforge.net/ . It seems really promising, and I got to test it on the PUD and AUSTRUMI live cds. I really like it, and its quite light and small. So I thought that I would use LXDE but with Metacity. Or maybe Openbox.
