Hi,
Newbie, so excuse my ignorance. I have searched the multimedia forum for an answer, but none seemed to be on point.
I have Felicia (Gnome) installed and everything works great, except I haven't been able to stream any audio sources. When I had rythmbox, the default loaded stations worked from within Rhythmbox. I have since switched to Banshee, and there are no default stations loaded there. In Firefox, when I navigate to a streaming audio source, I can't get any audio, despite having all the default plugins installed (,mplayer, quicktime, realplayer, windows media.) I haven't found a streaming audio source that I can get to work yet. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong or tests I can do (known compatible streaming sources I can try)?
Thanks for any assistance,
Chris

Re: Streaming audio
Sorry, should have specified that I have Mint 6 Main installed, and that the plugins seem to stream video feeds OK.....
Re: Streaming audio
Perhaps I should also have mentioned that I *have* read the guide suggested above, do have all the repos activated (multiverse, universe, medibuntu) and have all the gstreamer plug-ins installed (the good, the bad and the ugly).
An example of a website I do not seem to be able to stream would be: http://www.am770chqr.com i.e. the Listen Live feature.
Any suggestions?
