Post by angelbeast »

Has anyone had any trouble with the new kernel that has shown up in the latest batch of updates? I'm just wondering if i should give it a go...

I've not had any problems with kernel upgrades however YMMV.the old adage applies i think- if its not broke-don't fix it.

If the updated kernel is from Ubuntu security you may want to consider updating it.Also, if the new kernel proves to be a problem, you can boot with the original kernel and remove the new one. The "if it ain't broke don't fix it" is also good advice because if everything works then what is there to gain?

"Newer" doesn't have anything to do with "better." Just as "want" has no relationship to "need." :-)
